Air-O-Later
First entering the market in 1967, the Air-O-Later company offers more than 40 years of excellent floating aeration and submersible mixing products.
Today, the product is known as the Aquarian and has four product lines, all made in its Kansas City, Mo., facility. The company has continued to grow and develop its lines, with more than 400 dealers nationwide. Utilizing numerous top-tier manufacturer representatives, Air-O-Later is able to serve its customers by separating them into three equipment groups: aquaculture, consumer and commercial.
In 1967, Roycraft Industries created the original Ice-Away, a product designed as a deicer to prevent ice from forming around marinas and docks. The product grew from there, and a few years later, the company developed the water-cooled submersible electric motor. It was in 1972 that the new and improved Ice-Away had another useful purpose. While positioned with the propeller near the water’s surface, the product became the perfect pond and lake aerator. The Air-O-Later name inspired the Air-O-Later Corporation to form in 1973. S&N Airoflo
S&N Airoflo is a leader in floating brush rotors and waste water treatment applications.
They have become an industry leader based on their reputation of lowering operational costs for customers as well as reduced maintenance costs and easy installation. Since 1989, the company has been able to improve from their original design concept. The process combined an intricate blade shape with an aggressive configuration of a blade that exists on a floating platform.
S&N’s equipment design calls for less maintenance based on a simple preventative maintenance program which requires inspections not repairs. There are EZ-Access solutions for oxidation ditch applications and also equipment designed for lagoon applications with bank installations.
For more than 20 years, S&N has been supplying floating brush rotors to municipalities and industrial facilities. S&N-designed aerators give users more efficiency with less horsepower. This adds up to a power savings of about 30 to 60 percent for several types of waste water treatment applications. S&N is located in Greenwood, MS.
